Donations & Sponsorships
Thank you for your interest in supporting PV Palooza 2024!
PV Palooza is funded thanks to the generosity of the local community, including sponsorships from local businesses / organizations and individual donors. Funding is collected by PV Palooza Foundation, and used to cover the costs of the event, including payments to musicians, live sound engineers, stage managers, rental of stage, equipment, backline instruments, promotion and marketing, permits, insurance, security, etc.
INDIVIDUAL DONOR LEVELS

Fan - $100 to $300
Fan donors are anonymous. -
Groupie - $300 to $750
Groupie donors can choose to be named or anonymous. -
Rock Star - Over $750
Rock Star donors can choose to be named or anonymous.
Rock Star donors receive two invitations to the Pre-V Palooza VIP party*.
Individual named donors can be named only as individual or family names (no business names). Named donors will be listed on website, social media and emails. Rock Star named donors are additionally listed on printed posters and banners.
BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES
Business sponsorships are available only to businesses local to Portola Valley and the immediately surrounding communities†.

Silver – $1000
Business name listed on posters, banners, social media emails and website.

Gold – $1750
Logo displayed on posters, event banners, stage banners, emails and website
+ Sponsor a band (sponsorship announcement during band's performance)
+ Two invitations to the Pre-V Palooza VIP party*.

Platinum – $2500
Same as Gold but with larger logo and 2 band sponsorships
+ Physical presence at the event (table top, small booth, small stand)
+ Four invitations to the Pre-V Palooza VIP party*.
Since PV Palooza is tax exempt private foundation registered as a 501(c)(3), donors and sponsors can deduct contributions from their taxes under IRC Section 170. Our proof of tax exempt status can be found here: IRS letter of determination.

* The Pre-V Palooza VIP party is by invitation only, open to Rock Star individual donors, Gold & Platinum business sponsors, PV Palooza musicians and the PV Palooza Foundation team. Held on the evening of May 30 at a local high-end recording studio, this intimate event will include impromptu inter-band jam sessions for the enjoyment of the guests.
† As special exceptions requiring approval from the PV Palooza Foundation board, we will accommodate sponsorships from local businesses that are not in the municipalities immediately surrounding Portola Valley if (a) the business is located on the Peninsula, (b) the business is donating both cash and in-kind products or services connected to the core mission of PV Palooza Foundation (i.e. music related) or essential to holding the events (i.e. food and beverage), and (c) There are no similar businesses in communities immediately surrounding Portola Valley interested in being a sponsor.
