BANDS

A total of 30 acts, including 21 main stage bands, and 9 showcase acts, will perform on 3 main stages and a smaller showcase stage.  In all, over 140 musicians will be taking the stage at PV Palooza 2026!  All bands are local to Portola Valley, Woodside, La Honda or Skylonda.

Dr. Sig & The SuperNaturals is an original rock opera. Portola Valley resident Ronny Crawford is joined by Woodside residents Smitty (Greg Smith), Sig Knapstad, and Beth Stovall with DB Walker, Lori Chaplin and Heather Courtney.

This Way Up

La Honda's This Way Up brings rhythms and melodies from all over the world, and combine them into a unique, spirited mix. Reggae, Calypso, Folk, Blues, Rock, Country- these are just some of the ingredients.

Black Krim Band

Black Krim plays high-energy rock and roll, featuring Woodside residents Chris Skarakis (guitar), Jennifer Skarakis (bass, guitar), Marina Dellaporta Marguet (vocals), and Ted Sprague (guitar, vocals) with PJ Weston (vocals, guitar), David Hollis (drums), and Eddie Gates (bass, vocals, guitar).

The Bundy Browne Band

The Bundy Browne Band plays a jammy mix of original music, influenced by Americana and R&B. PV natives Bundy Browne (guitar & vocals), Jeff Stratton (bass) and Bowen Brown (drums) are joined by Henry Salvia on keyboards.

Across the Holler

Across the Holler

Across the Holler playcoffeehouse, gospel, R&B, Americana, reggae. They play a mix of both originals and covers. Woodside residents Simon Scott (guitar & vocals), Steve Duss (bass & vocals) and Elana Dusse (guitar & vocals) are joined by Dan Rosenfeld on drums.

Pacific Vibration

Portola Valley native Kerry Wing (vocals / guitar), and brother Aidan Wing (vocals / guitar) are joined by 5 other local musicians, playing upbeat and soulful original reggae music.

Midnight Rounds is the unofficial cover band of Stanford Children's Health, featuring Woodside resident James Wall (bass), joined by Matias Bruzoni (Guitar, Keys, Vocals), Drew Allen (Guitar), Raji Koppolu (Vocals), and Yasser El-Sayed (Drums)

Up and to the Right

Up and to the Right is an oldies, classic rock and country cover band featuring PV resident Ray Rothrock (bass, tenor sax) and his son Nathaniel (vocals, keys) Michele Huertas (vocals), with Peter Sawyer (lead guitar) and George Huertas (rhythm guitar).

Maia Luna

Maia Luna

Maia is a local singer songwriter with a unique sound that blends honest, introspective lyricism and warm harmonies with a bit of California sunshine. This summer she will be on tour in Colorado and Montana, playing songs from her latest album, “Horizons”.

The Bubbles band plays twenty-first century modern rock covers. Portola Valley resident Jeff Morgan (lead vocals), is joined by Fredrik Forsman (guitar), Ilya Umansky (keys), Cody Stumpo (bass) and Dennis Willoner (drums).

Zanzibar

Zanzibar blends Afro-Funk, Afro-Cuban and Latin influences into their music. La Honda native Kerry Wing (guitar, lead vocals), PV native Tim Hilborn (drums) and La Honda resident Alan Burr (trombone), are joined by Eric Tabelion (bass), Rudy Ramirez (guitar), Ricardo Molina (percussion) and Jen Muir (sax).

Lady & The Tramps

Lady & The Tramps

Lady and The Tramps play an eclectic mix of Rock & Roll, R&B/Soul, Blues…and even a few standards. La Honda keyboardist Dave Bartz is joined by Tessa Johnson on vocals, Mark Yee on sax/vocals, Simon Whitworth on bass, Ross Blaufarb on drums and vocals, Jeff Burgan on guitar and vocals, Cory Verbin on guitar, vocals and keyboards.

Windy Hill

Windy Hill

Windy Hill is an award-winning bluegrass band featuring Portola Valley native Ryan Breen (vocals, banjo) and an all-star cast of California pickers.

The Wildcats

The Wildcats

The Wildcats cover classic rock dance music, featuring Portola Valley resident Kevin Mandia on lead guitar, with locals Michael Brown on keys, Hank Barry on drums, John Avila on bass and both Al Kenrick and Jeff Scheel on rhythm guitar + vocals.

Squirrels of Wisdom plays original rock and covers. Woodside resident Wesley Barrow (bass) is joined by Mel Worthy (violin), Lisa Edberg-Thompson (vocals, guitar), Jen Bruno (drums), Jenny Bennet (vocals, keys) and Michelle Spahn (vocals, lead guitar)

Postman Jack & The Special Deliveries

Postman Jack & The Special Deliveries

La Honda singer-songwriter Jack Mullins (guitar/vocals) is joined by La Honda residents Chris Bouman (bass), and Fred Deubert (drums). Postman Jack and the Special Deliveries have just released a new album, "The Right to Remain Salient", featuring twelve of Jack's own compositions.

Bionic Sloth delivers high energy rock n roll with thoughtful lyrics . Portola Valley resident Roland Strick is joined by other local musicians.

Whistle Creek plays a mix of classic country and Americana tunes, featuring Portola Valley resident Caroline Warde on vocals, Jeff Miller on guitar, Grant Foster on bass and Greg Sickal on drums.

Tehya

Tehya plays rock-and-roll hits from the 50's up to today. Portola Valley resident Dave Hobson (guitar, vocals) is joined by Jill Williams (lead vocals), Kevin Gardella (drums, vocals), Stephen Contreras (keyboard, guitar, vocals), and John “JB” Brown (bass, vocals).

Michael Vincent & U No Who

Michael Vincent & U No Who plays edgy indie rock with La Honda resident Michael Vincent (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Portola Valley resident Scott Warren (lead guitar), Dave Mendoza (bass, vocals); Anthony Fulgar (drums & percussion), Colin Hamilton (lead/rhythm guitar).

RS5

RS5 is a sextet that plays jazz classics. Portola Valley resident Bob Murphy (piano), Woodside resident Steve Jones (guitar) and La Honda resident Guy Lalonde (drums) are joined by local musicians Don Arnold (bass), Rich Silton (alto sax), Philip Hirschberg (tenor sax) play the gamut of jazz standards with a distinctive and authentic groove.

SHOWCASE BANDS

Showcase Bands

The Showcase Stage is next to the library lawn main stage.  Showcase acts, mostly youth bands, perform for 20 minutes each.  For 2025, we will had a total of 9 Showcase acts: 1.99 Records (Woodside High School), Metal Men, Three on the Tree, Christopher Normann (solo), Bell & The Peppers, Us, Peck & Nelson Brothers, Lior Margolis & Friends and Whistle Creek.
