BANDS
A total of 30 acts, including 21 main stage bands, and 9 showcase acts, will perform on 3 main stages and a smaller showcase stage. In all, over 140 musicians will perform at PV Palooza! All bands are local to Portola Valley, Woodside, La Honda or Skylonda. Please refer to the schedule for performance times of each band.
Alec Lytle & Them Rounders
Alec Lytle & Them Rounders are a nationally touring indie-folk band from Woodside. They perform original music often inspired by the redwood forest where Alec lives and writes. The song ‘The Mountain’ from their most recent record spent 2 weeks at #1 on the US folk music chart.
Krim Band
Krim Band plays high-energy rock and roll, featuring Woodside residents Chris Skarakis (guitar), Jennifer Skarakis (bass, guitar), Marina Dellaporta Marguet (vocals), and Ted Sprague (guitar, vocals) with PJ Weston (vocals, guitar), David Hollis (drums), and Eddie Gates (bass, vocals, guitar).
Christopher Normann
Christopher Normann plays all original music - an alternative fusion of jazz, rock and electronic music. Band members include Portola Valley natives Christopher Badger (songwriting, vocals, guitar, keyboard) and Dominic Constantz (guitar) with Sebastian Najbjerg (drums) and Max King (bass).
Whiskey Hillbillies
Whiskey Hill Billies bring a unique blend of wit and personality to their collection of acoustic Americana and Country music. Woodside residents Steve Dussé (Bass, vocals), PJ Weston (guitar, vocals), and Andy McKaige (banjo, vocals) are joined by Dan Lucas on drums and Howard Klein on keys.
Los Trancolizers

Los Trancolizers plays classic rock covers, featuring Portola Valley residents Steve Dunne (rhythm guitar), Rob Kalman (lead guitar, vocals), Laure Woods (vocals) and Scott Tandy (bass, vocals), joined by local Carla Wray (drums, vocals).
Zanzibar
Zanzibar blends Afro-Funk, Afro-Cuban and Latin influences into their music. La Honda native Kerry Wing (guitar, lead vocals), PV native Tim Hilborn (drums) and La Honda resident Alan Burr (trombone), are joined by Eric Tabelion (bass), Rudy Ramirez (guitar), Ricardo Molina (percussion) and Jen Muir (sax).
Slush

Slush covers rock hits from the 70s, 80 and 90s. Portola Valley residents Andy Barrows, Todd Scheuer, Karel Urbanek, Ty Jagerson and Taylor Hinshaw are joined by Joe Lange of Woodside.
Postman Jack & The Special Deliveries
La Honda singer-songwriter Jack Mullins (guitar/vocals) is joined by La Honda residents Chris Bouman (bass), and Fred Deubert (drums). Postman Jack and the Special Deliveries have just released a new album, "The Right to Remain Salient", featuring twelve of Jack's own compositions.
RS5

RS5 is a sextet that plays jazz classics. Portola Valley resident Bob Murphy (piano), Woodside resident Steve Jones (guitar) and La Honda resident Guy Lalonde (drums) are joined by local musicians Don Arnold (bass), Rich Silton (alto sax), Philip Hirschberg (tenor sax) play the gamut of jazz standards with a distinctive and authentic groove.
SHOWCASE BANDS
The Showcase Stage is next to the library lawn main stage. Showcase acts, mostly youth bands, perform for 20 minutes each. For 2025, we will have a total of 9 Showcase acts. One of the showcase bands will be selected to open the day on one of the soccer field main stages.
