Petty Rocks, featuring Portola Valley's very own Andy Hewett on bass guitar, is a tribute to the music of the one-of-a-kind rock and roll icon, Tom Petty. Comprised of five top-notch, seasoned musicians, Tom Petty's iconic catalog, both top hits and "deep cuts", are performed in expert, high energy fashion.
The band prides itself on detailed, faithful versions of Tom Petty's amazing brand of American Rock and Roll. You will hear all of Petty's biggest hits, such as Breakdown, I Won't Back Down, Free Fallin', Don't Do Me Like That, Mary Jane's Last Dance, and Refugee, (just to name a very few), as well as amazing lesser known gems such as Swingin', Out in the Cold, and Love is a Long Road, in addition to hits from The Traveling Wilburys. Whether you are a Tom Petty fanatic or a more casual fan, PETTY ROCKS will keep you entertained and dancing.

Anthony Arya is an Indie Folk artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. At just 16, he emerged into the national spotlight with appearances on NBC’s The Voice. Now 23, he has released four full-length albums winning national awards for his songwriting. A fifth album is set for release in 2026.
With his soulful lyrics and gritty guitar riffs, Arya brings the folk rock sound of Los Angeles’ Laurel Canyon into a modern era. In 2018, he released his debut album, Going To California, earning him the Presidential Scholar of the Arts in the Singer-Songwriter category. His second album, The Road, was inspired by the music of Bob Dylan, as well as Beatnik writer Jack Kerouac and F. Scott Fitzgerald.

HISTORY OF THE PORTOLA VALLEY SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Since 2010, the Portola Valley Cultural Arts Committee organized the Portola Valley Summer Concert Series, with all funding provided by the Town of Portola Valley. Over 40 bands performed since the beginning of the tradition, and the concerts have become some of the most anticipated events in the community. Since in 2025, PV Palooza Foundation has the produced the events, including fundraising, planning, organizing and promotion.
